The Lagelu Outreach
Access to basic medical care should never depend on income or location. As part of our ongoing commitment to grassroots wellness, Entier Health Foundation presents the Free Lagelu Healthcare Checkup—a comprehensive medical outreach program aimed at bringing quality healthcare, early diagnosis, and free treatment directly to families and individuals across the Lagelu community in Oyo State.
Many individuals in rural and semi-urban communities put off routine medical care due to high out-of-pocket costs or long travel distances to tertiary health centers. This initiative removes those barriers by establishing pop-up medical centers staffed by dedicated doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
- Basic Health Screenings: Checkups for blood pressure, blood glucose levels, body mass index (BMI), and vital signs to detect early signs of hypertension and diabetes.
- General Medical Consultations: One-on-one evaluations with doctors for acute ailments, general wellness, and symptom diagnosis.
- Free Prescription Medications: Dispensing of essential drugs, pain relief, anti-malarials, and supplements based on clinical prescriptions.
- Maternal & Pediatric Care: Specialist guidance for expectant mothers, infant growth monitoring, and nutritional advice for families.
- Health Counseling & Prevention: Practical education on managing lifestyle conditions, sanitation practices, and early disease prevention.
